DAT Load Lead Beta Extension Privacy Notice
1) Scope
This notice applies to the Dispatch Stream DAT Load Lead Beta Chrome extension (the "Extension"). The Extension works with the Dispatch Stream platform and is intended for invited beta users.
2) What the Extension accesses
When the user clicks the inline Add to Dispatch Stream button on one.dat.com, the Extension reads only the currently selected DAT posting detail pane needed to prepare a single Load Lead capture.
This may include visible posting fields such as:
- Origin and destination city/state
- Pickup window and delivery window
- Rate, miles, and rate per mile
- Broker/company name, MC number, visible phone number, and visible email
- Equipment, weight, and visible comments
- The source page URL and visible reference identifier, if shown
3) What the Extension stores locally
The Extension stores the Dispatch Stream base URL in Chrome extension storage so it knows where to open the authenticated review flow. The Extension does not locally maintain a DAT posting database or background crawl history.
4) What the Extension sends to Dispatch Stream
After explicit user action, the Extension sends the single selected posting capture to the user's authenticated Dispatch Stream workspace so the user can review and save it as a separate Load Lead linked to a posted truck.
5) What the Extension does not do
- It does not crawl or poll DAT in the background.
- It does not bulk-harvest search results or entire result lists.
- It does not write directly to Firestore or bypass Dispatch Stream authentication.
- It does not publish DAT data to other users outside the authenticated Dispatch Stream workflow.
6) How saved data is handled
Once a user saves a Load Lead in Dispatch Stream, the saved record is handled under the Dispatch Stream platform privacy policy and the customer's account controls.
